The daily drill

The screen runs itself. You do three things a day.

Morning

  1. Power on. The panel boots to the PC input and the show shell opens on its own.
  2. If the shell did not open: open sf-t15-27-showrunner-shell.html in the kiosk browser.
  3. First morning only: run sf-t15-31-preflight.html before doors and clear every check.
  4. Live mode (the dare opens the real Work Suite): confirm the booth connection is up. Open the dare piece, tap it once, and when the real app appears log into the Silver Fern Demo (DMO) tenant on worksuite.silverfern.red right there inside the frame — the .red demo backend, never production and never a customer tenant; this screen is public. Logging in through the piece establishes the frame’s own session, so from then on every tap lands straight on the dashboard — no loading, no login. If a login screen ever shows up inside the dare again, repeat this step.

Evening

  1. The shell pins the booth CTA for the last 30 minutes on its own. Leave it alone.
  2. Power the screen OFF at close. Warranty condition — this panel must run under 12 hours a day.

Troubleshooting ladder

Work top to bottom. Stop at the first rung that fixes it.

1
Blank screen? Check the panel input source — it must be the PC HDMI.
2
Still blank: power-cycle the panel.
3
Still blank: power-cycle the PC. Content self-restores — touch nothing.
4
Last resort: open sf-t15-28-safe-slide.html manually and flag it after close.
5
Touch not working? Reseat the USB touch cable. Then Windows: Tablet PC Settings > Setup to re-bind touch after rotation.
6
Network? Only the dare's live mode uses it (the real Work Suite in-frame). Everything else runs local. If the connection dies, the dare falls back to its animation by itself — nothing to fix mid-show. Reconnect + re-login at the next quiet moment.
